Mounting a USB device

How do I mount my USB device (mp3 player, works like a USB storage)? Distro is SimplyMepis and the device is Jens Of Sweden MP-130.

If you aren't sure that of the device node, plug it into the working system, and then type dmesg. Look through the last few lines and it should say that it assigned sda or something close to that.
Then:

mount -t usbfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb

Assuming that sda1 was the device and /mnt/usb exists.

/dev/sda1    /mnt/usb     usbfs    defaults     0 0

Again, Assuming that the device is always going to be sda1 and that you've created /mnt/usb
