mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

Here is a part of my fstab:

/dev/hdc /mnt/dvd udf,iso9660 noauto,users 0 0
/dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,users 0 0

The cdrom, writable, is just working fine.
The dvd writer, at the opposite, is not working.
I got it working some times, but after the first reboot, for some reasons, I have to rework it.

Thanks

Are you trying to write a dvd here? If so you don't want it mounted.

Hi bulliver,

Thanks your answer.
No, sorry, just giving different logs concerning same device.
I do not try mounting when burning, or listening audio.
My problem is that once I get it fixed, it looses those settings after the first reboot.
I get it fixed by reworking the kernel, 2.6.13 at the moment. I just say no for scsi emulation, for example, then say yes for same,
or including, removing scsi generic support and it is working until next reboot again.
It looks really unstable for some reason.

Thanks
