Motorola SM56 PCI Modem Driver for Fedora Core 2(Kernel-2.6.5)

I am using Fedora Core 2 with kernel-2.6.5. My Internelmode, Motorola sm56 speakermodem, counld not be configured. The provided by motorola is for kernel-2.4.x only. Anybody who can help me please respond.

ppvinod; see if this may help; http://tldp.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX section 4.1.5 Kernel, expand fully for detailed information. very useful information..
