Motherboard Chipset VIA or Nvidia

im getting a motherboard soon which chipset is the better for Linux or does it not matter.

Im thinking of getting this one ASUS K8N Socket 754 NVIDIA nForce3 250 Motherboard

Nvidia chipsets are the best for AMD processors.

nVidia nForce4 is the best imho. Although I had a via KT600 running in my last pc, it ran mandrake and gentoo but not Red Hat or Ubuntu.
