more cd probs
Ok here is my deal. I have two cd-rom drives, a Plextor CD-R drive and a Pioneer DVD-Rom. My plextor is mounted to /mnt/cdrom and my pioneer is mounted to /mnt/dvdrom When i try putting in data cds, I can find the data in the said folders, but when i try putting in music cds, i try running the cd player that came with GNOME, it always says scaning discs and never reads the music. If i try loading tracks through XMMS, it only reads discs off of my Pioneer DVD-rom, and then it reads the dvdrom as being in /mnt/cdrom even tho that same mount for a data cd is my Plextor drive. Im a bit confused obviusly :) Here are the cd-drives of my /etc/fstab file:
/dev/hdd /mnt/dvdrom iso9660 moauto,owner,kudzu, ro 0 0 /dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 moauto,owner,kudzu, ro 0 0 Anyone have any ideas? Thankx a lot. -=Oklahoma=- |
I think that it tries to read this one which is /dev/cdrom
Look into /dev and see which one is /dev/cdrom pointing to. |
