When I center the screen on my ViewSonic monitor using Windows XP, it is off center by 1/8 inch on the left using Linux. The monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse are shared by a Windows computer and a Linux computer via a KVM switch. I am running Linux Mint XFCE 6, but the problem persists no matter what Linux distro I use. When I look at the xorg.conf file, it says that everything is being handled by some automatic Debian db. Is there a solution in the xorg configuration files? I look forward to your suggestions.
