monitor compatability. . ?

good day and
am so glad to find this forum.

am preparing to install RH 8.0 on new dual-boot system, and am entirely new to linux/ red hat 'cept for reading various "bibles" and texts on linux programming. . . :study:
my question is: where can i learn which monitors are compatible w/red hat 8.0?
tried a google search <red hat 8.0, hardware compatability.> and the consequential dbase was irrelevent, unhelpful. . .

specifically, in finding a monitor for a new (to my possession) tower, i have been considering the moderately priced mitsubishi diamondpoint monitor. . .
if anyone can help with suggestions, databases or personal experience, wld be much appreciated. . .

thank you in advance;

Monitors are not usually a problem as most are compatible. (I think one that isn't would have to be very unusual.)

The Monitor your considering would be fine. Details such as scan rates etc. should be part of the specs section of the manual (or leaflet usually) that comes with the monitor.

The redhat installer may have all its specs already, but you can customise it as you install it.
