I've just bought Acer 22" monitor.. then the red pixel there..
What you folks can you say about red pixels (I have one at least).
Is it critical? So any ideas are welcome=)
Each manufacturer usually has a limit on the number of dead, or 'stuck on' pixels an LCD can have before it's considered defective. other than the pixels being dead or stuck on it shouldn't affect the performance of the monitor in any way.
If the stuck pixel annoys you and you just purchased it, you could always see if the retailer will swap it out.. I mean a 22" LCD isn't cheap, I'd rather have a perfect one if possible.
