modprobe usbserial for ANT stick does not work
Hi,
I have an ANT2 stick, which used to happily create a generic serial device /dev/ttyUSB0 by issuing as root
modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0fcf product=0x1008
However, I have not used in a while and now trying to get working on
2.6.41.9-1.fc15.i686.PAE
The command produces no errors, but nothing in /var/log/messages, no usbserial in lsmod and no /dev/ttyUSB0
I am suspecting there is some kernel change, but how to get the kernel to recognise the device as a generic serial?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
James
