Modem Problem in Suse Linux 9.1
I am new in Linux and just I installed suse linux 9.1 in my compaq presario 2539ea laptop and the installation runs smoothly and loaded all drivers without a glitch.
But when i try to connect to internet using dial-up, there is no response, no dialing activity (no sound of dialing). I checked the modem config and it shows me as HP intel M5457 ACLink, mine is ALi Corporation M5457 AC'97 Modem.
Is this a driver problem or some configuration should be done, how? I appreciate somebody who can help me.
