modem problem
 

i have intel's internal AMBIENT 5628DLC modem.
i am using linux 7.3 red hat distribution.
i did not knows how to install the modem.

i have tried a lot but in vain.
i have donwload its latest driver from net it name and type is "intel-v92ham-453.tgz"

i do what is in readme file. but after step 6 i did not know what to do.
is there any one who can help me

This can be some UI prog like kinternet from KDE,
or cinternet, I don't know what Red Hat has.
Maybe you should start pppd before using kinternet, I don't know exactly.
