Modem - Please HEEELP!

Hi, i'm using RedHat 8.0, Kppp and I establish a dial-up connection to my ISP, but Mozzila is having a trouble loading pages, INTERNET is very slow, and sometimes i get an error message saying "Server could not been found", i got this error MSG trying to visit google (so I know that the server exists), i tryed other browsers, but i get the same result: slow INTERNET or stupid error message.
I added this to modem's codes: AT&FL1X3
Without it, i can't even connect!

I have Intel(r) 536EP Modem, and recently installed new drivers for it, before i couldn't even find my modem, so please help, in Windows XP everything works great, i even get good speed, never any error message. HELP, HELP, HELP, i'm going crazy!

Probably you can find your modem driver on the intel's website for linux.

Your problem seems to be a bit ambiguous. Please make it univocal.

(To me...!!)
