I have an internal modem . When I use it in Windows I found that it is in COM3.So I tried in ttys2 in Linux Fedora . I used the internet config wizard. But it is telling in ttys3 "modem is busy" and in ttys0 "Modem is ready". I also used KPPP but not able to connect to internet. I didn't tried any command lines to check my modem as I am new to Linux.

Please post all information you can find regarding this modem. I strongly suspect it is a "winmodem" but if you can find a name, chipset or anything else I might be able to help you.
