Mobile Platform Advice

I want to build a home automation and security system, that will control X10 devices around my house. Also I want to connect this device to my PC with WiFi and stream audio-video files.
I was looking for a mobile platform and fount this MKit
http://www.uniconsys.com/devkit-ucn2410-c.html
It includes one-board Linux computer on ARM9 at 266mhz, 3.5” 24 bit LCD with touch, full audio, wifi 11b, high speed USB hosts and all this runs on a Li-Ion battery and a plastic case's included. So theoretically I can develop my stuff and have a finished device.
Sounds to good to be true.
Does anyone know anything about this stuff?

It looks fine. There are such devices available. BTW Linux is a standard system for for such kits. The price is also standard.
