Mint 18 Cinnamon - boot time
The firmware and kernel boot time is very long:
systemd-analyze
Startup finished in 30.231s (firmware) + 4.701s (loader) + 20.807s (kernel) + 1.073s (userspace) = 56.814s
How can I investigate further (finding the culprits) in order of reducing it?
Thanks.

Your boot time may have more to do with your computer hardware than the software.
I am curious as to your computer specs?

^^ What is this? Make it easier for your helpers, try not to post bloated output and use code tags. Like this:
