GnetMD Help!

I tried building gnetMD from source, compiled OK, ran it, MD player won't show up, made sure I could write to /proc/bus/usb/ still no luck, built it from the debian package, installs OK, runs, but my MD player still won't show up. Any advice would be appreciated! Debian 3.1 from Sarge NetInstall if that helps

Hm... that was interesting

I decided to just try using libnetmd and wrote an m3u instead of a omg file and it worked great (detecting it at least, still no writing for me)...I tried this a couple months ago since sonic stage always crashes in windows, but it didn't work then, but I'm happy it does now mz-N510 type S

gnetMD has no documentation whatsoever on its page (that I could find)...what are the dependencies?

(Using slack, no gnome installed...I assume gnetMD uses gnome?)

Thanks...
