microsoft intelli-mouse


i just bought suse 8.1 and am pleased with it. my question is-
is there anyway to cotrol the mouse curser speed. seems like i have to move the mouse quite a bit to cover desktop area. thanks ronss

Yup.
Either use xset with the "m" parameter, or set the Resolution in the Pointer section of your XF86Config

bah
thanks for the reply. i did see adding mouse and a couple of other things in the xf86 config. the best way i found to set the mouse speed is through the kde control center.click on periferals, mouse,advanced, and then it has a click tab to select mouse speed.i quess it helps to look at the suse 8,1 user quide see ya- ronss
