Microsoft bluetooth mouse.

My Microsoft intellimouse bluetooth works perfect on Ubuntu Dapper Drake. Only problem is when it goes inactive for a few minutes I have to pair it with the notebook again. Same with every boot. I don't mind pairing it each time the OS boots, but the pairing it everytime it goes idle is a pain. Any suggestions?

Also, some of the responses I've gotten from other places, suggest I just don't use a bluetooth mouse. Well since this is a notebook, with bluetooth, I figured why not use it.

I'm using a bluetooth dongle to talk to my Palm E2 on my Ubuntu 6.06 system. Ubuntu uses the bluez drivers which are well documented at http://www.bluez.org. There's a good chance there's a parameter for the timeout which I'd think is there for the sake of battery life in the bluetooth device. I don't have an answer for you but this site is where I would go to look. They had excellent information for my application of bluetooth.
