Mepis 8 - Wireless is gone after resuming from standby

Hello, wireless works great in mepis 8 (which i'm using because ubuntu froze every time with this wireless card)

But, when i go into standby, which works great, and then come out, wireless is gone. A quick iwconfig command tells me that my wlan0 adapter has no wireless extensions. I don't get it. I have to reboot to get it working again. I've tried restarting networking, but that doesn't do anything either.

Any ideas? I'd really like to be able to standby or hibernate.

-Thank you

You could try to reload the driver for the card, and restart networking.
Look at the conf files in /etc/hibernate/*
In general there is an option not to unload the driver.
