I have RH9 and Win98 on two separate hard drives. One is a random 40gb Seagate hooked to HDD-0. The other is a Maxtor 160gb hooked to at ATA/100 Promise card. RH is on the former, Win on the latter.
Aside from preventing me from using GRUB as my default bootloader (I have to stop the basic BIOS loading process to change the default boot order between HDD-0 and SCSI depending on which OS I need--suggestions?) by creating a barrier between GRUB and Win98 (help on that problem would be great too), I can't get to my slew of MP3s on the Win98 drive while in RH9.
I'm still very green with Linux, so I can't imagine how to create a workaround except maybe emulating the Promise BIOS so that the FAT32 filesystem is ready. It's also possible that I'm missing something very obvious and dumb. Regardless, any help with this odd piece of PCI mayhem would be welcome. And no, I'm not ready to just go over to RH or Linux entirely, still too green
