Matrox Meteor Framegrabber with linux 2.4 and above?

Hi,
Has anyone ever been able to use the Matrox Meteor FrameGrabber (NOT Meteor II) with a linux kernel 2.4 and above? I got a driver from the following URL, compiled and loaded it without much problems, but there is no grabbing at all. I tried example programs that come with the driver, with several different cameras, but unfortunately I could get no input.

Any help would be appreciated. And yes, the card is old, but I'd love to get it working, just to avoid buying an expensive card again.

Thanks,
-J-
