Manually remove devices
 
I have a FC2 box that I would like to remove the mouse from since I have no gui set up. How can I manually remove the mouse

Lean around the back and pull it out :D?

Seriously, if there's no X then unless you have gpm you shouldn't have mouse input.

So just remove gpm (general purpose mouse something?)

the only reason a mouse was installed is because I was told by the OS Install that I needed to have one...I cannot figure out why though
