Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Mandrake Middle mouse button and number lock

I was wondering how I make mandrake enable the number lock at startup.

I was also wondering how I make the middle mouse button act as it does in windows on web browsers. Allowing fast scrolling rather than the back button which i don't like.

If you are using KDE, start control center, then click on the + next to peripherals, then click on keyboard. click on the "Turn on" radio button under "numlock at startup.

Configuring the middle mouse button is not so simple, as this setting is browser specific. My middle button does different actions depending on how I have set it for different browsers. I know nothing of the fast scrolling you speak of, but maybe someone else does...
