Mandrake Linux 10.1 and Canon i250...
I've been trying to get my Canon i250 printer working with my Mandrake Linux 10.1 and now when I`m trying to install bjfilter-2.3-0 the following comes up when I type 'make' in the terminal:
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/juha/bjfilter/bjfilter/bjfilter-2.3-0'
Making all in src
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/juha/bjfilter/bjfilter/bjfilter-2.3-0/src'
if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../include/cncl -I../include/misc -O2 -MT bjferror.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/bjferror.Tpo" -c -o bjferror.o bjferror.c; \
then mv -f ".deps/bjferror.Tpo" ".deps/bjferror.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/bjferror.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
bjferror.c: In function `bjf_error':
bjferror.c:49: error: label at end of compound statement
make[2]: *** [bjferror.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/juha/bjfilter/bjfilter/bjfilter-2.3-0/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/juha/bjfilter/bjfilter/bjfilter-2.3-0'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Any suggestions how to work this out...? Or any over 80% sure way (other than this) to make printing work...?
(I'm new to Linux so explain things starting from basics...)
On another thread someone suggested installing popt devel package which I did but it didn't help with this...
