Mandrake 9.2 won't work with SOYO KT400 Lan

I have a SOYO KT400 Dragon Ultra Platinum motherboard, and installed Mandrake 9.2 on my system yesterday. Everything works fine, except for my network card. It is detected, but I can't get it to start properly. I go through and get the network configuration set up properly, but I cannot get the card to start up. It tries to, but the status always returns to 'down'. I know it's not the fact that the card doesn't work, because it works under my windows setup. My suspicion is that Mandrake is trying to use the wrong driver. Does anyone know how I might go about resolving this? I am a relative newbie to this, and would really appreciate some help. Thanks
