Unhappy Mandrake 9.0 on MSI KT3 Ultra - KT333 Chipset

I have the MSI KT3 Ultra motherboard. It has the KT333 Chipset.

I'm trying to set Raid 1 with the board and install Mandrake 9.0 which has the 2.4.19 kernel. But it is recognizing it as two drives.

What am I doing wrong? How can I get Mandrake to recognize the raid mirror?

Thanks for any help.

You probably have to recompile the kernel to support promise raid 1. Normally under linux you would do linux software raid, but it does support Promise and Highpoint software raid formats. I have the motherboard, but I use the raid controller as a additional controller.
