Angry Mandrake 10 Matrox G550

Dear Members,

i am using Mandrake 10.0 community version with a Matrox G550 graphiccard on an Asus P3 CUBX motherboard. During installation the card ist not directly identified but you have to do it manual. When booting Linux with Kde oder Gnome the monitorsignal breaks off every 30 sec and after 5 min the card sends no signal for about a minute. When the signal returns the windows and mousecoursor a flipping all over the screen and you have to reboot the systems. (Under Windowsxp everything works fine) Do you have any expereince with that problem?
