I tried so many times with a DELL (Lexar) 64MB,which should no problem....., but no chance till now.
Any replys are welcome, too!
Do u want to put a mini-linux on it? ...look at and try the howto from Damn Small Linux

The only way for a usb flash drive to be bootable is dependent on the BIOS. If the BIOS has software to boot off the USB flash drive than it can be done. You need to read on how to make a ramdisk file, learn the mknod utility, what modules need to be loaded to access the usb flash drive, etc.

When you enter your boot menu in the bios does it have external devices listed?
