LUKS and wireless keyboard

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?

I reinstall Sabayon and decided to encrypt my rootfs partition.

Wireless keyboard works to choose grub entry. Once booting into Linux at the LUKS password the wireless keyboard doesn't work. Once the password has been entered the wireless keyboard works.

I have to plug in a wired usb keyboard in order to enter my password.

Anyone have an idea?

Hi, what kind of keyboard is this? I sounds like you're missing the correct drivers in the initrd image.
A few possible drivers come to mind :
- PS2 (atkbd kernel module)
- USB hid
- Another specific hid driver (logitec's hid+ being a common one).

if using dracut, add this to dracut.conf :
Code:
add_drivers+="atkbd usbhid"

Thnx for the reply.

I found a bug tracker for this and posted against it and this is the reply I got back:

Currently gk-next development is in freeze due to new features changes. This will be fixed soon
So hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Maybe you don't want wireless keyboard to broadcast your passphrase!
