LSPCI detects the wrong hardware subsystem

Hi,
I am running RH5.3 with all the latest updates.

The PC is a Gigabyte EX58-DS4, X58 chipset with Core i7 920 CPU.

I am having some issues with sme hardware.

Part of this I am sure is due to the fact that LSCPI shows this:

09:06.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB43AB23 IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller (PHY/Link) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
Subsystem: Giga-byte Technology GA-EP45-DS5 Motherboard
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 7
Memory at fbbff000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K]
Memory at fbbf8000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2

When infact it is the Mobo i mentioned earlier.

Any ideas?

Cheers

have you checked dmidecode or lshw output ?

I see both of those boards use the same chip for firewire.. I wonder if they just used the same firmware for the firewire controller and didn't update the board model in it..
