Low latency TV tuner for console games?

I want to watch TV and Play my consoles (xbox ps2 gamecube) on my computer, and know that there is plenty of hardware that can do it. However, the existence of the Adaptec Gamebridge brought to my attention that there could be serious latency issues when playing video games through one of these tuners (There can be a several second delay between the time you hit the shoot button, to the time that it actually shows up on screen).

I have found no evidence that the low latency gamebridge works in linux, so I'm looking for other similar low latency devices. Can anyone recommend one that isn't a nightmare to use in linux?

Sorry, I know some consider it rude to bump a thread, but I Still hope someone finds this one. I know someone out there has played a console game through their tv tuner, and I just wanna find em.
