Lost resolution option after upgrade

I upgraded my machine from Mandriva 2008.1 32 bit (xorg 1.4.0.90, nvidia 169.12) to Mandriva 2009.1 64 bit (xorg 1.6.1 nvidia 180.51). After doing so, I lost a resolution setting option (mode) on my second monitor (of course, the only one lost was the one I needed and used).

Main monitor DFP-0 is a Samsung 21.3" 1600x1200 LCD. Secondary monitor DFP-1 is a Vizio GV52LFHDTV10A 52" 1920x1080 LCD HDTV. Both are connected via DVI. I use TwinView clone mode. Because of the mismatch in aspect ratio, I need to run the Vizio at 1600 wide to match the main Samsung.

Before the upgrade, I could select 1920x1080, 1600x1024, 1400x1050, 1280x1024, 1280x960, 1280x720, etc on the Vizio in nvidia-settings. After the upgrade, the 1600x1024 option disappeared! I have spent many hours playing with settings, trying options, etc, to no avail.

This is want I want: Option "metamodes" "1600x1200, 1600x1024 @1600x1200" and when I try it, the Vizio says "no signal". 1920 and 1280 resolutions do work, however, although that is not what I want. I have never specified any hard mode lines.

I would really appreciate any help! Not sure if this is NVidia or Xorg related and I don't know why this is happening when none of my hardware changed. On 2008.1, I started the Xserver in verbose mode to a file. Here are a some relevant lines:

A few people have reported issues related to dual display no longer working with the nvidia 180.51 driver. A temporary fix is to revert back to your previous nvidia driver until they have resolved the problem.

Dual display is working OK, though. It is just that one resolution (1600 wide) is missing for the second display. All the other advertised resolutions do work. Can't really revert nvidia easily, since this is the starting point rpm for Mandriva 2009.1... certainly if something newer comes out, I will try it (also because I *love* VDPAU, but it has some video tearing in it). I am not even sure if this is related to the Nvidia driver, or if it is something that has changed in xorg.
