lost cd rom

Hello,

I'm a newbee in linux world and I tried to install Mandrake 10 on one of my computer. Everything is correct exept the cd rom. Right after the install I have the icon on the desk top and I can browse cd's. The problem start when I try to access a game cd to be install whit Cedega. First when I'm in the console and I typr the command to install the game, nothing append. After that, I'm not able to browse the cd I get a blank screen in the browser. Now, no more cd icon on the desk top.

Someone can help please!

is the cdrom mounted? (mount /cdrom)

The cd rom is mount, I check the setup /mnt/cdrom. I reinstall mandrake with version 9.1 and now it's working. Exept to see the files on a windows cd, I have to open first the browser and then insert the cd. If I won't do this way, I get the same bug has mandrake 10.
