Looking for USB sound card with Line-in

Hi, all. I'm looking for a usb sound card for my netbook -- one that has a line-in jack (that's the sole reason I need one - my netbook doesn't have a line-in jack.) Any suggestions? I'm running Mint 13 XFCE on it right now.

you may have a line in and not know it

run alsamixer -c 0 in a terminal and navigate to line jack mode

press the up or down arrows and choose

Nope, no line-in jacks in alsamixer.

You could try this from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dynamode-Cha...6943908&sr=8-1

It's very cheap but I've got one fitted on my HP Proliant ML370 G4 (No sound card 'cos it's a server!) OK for line out, I haven't actually tried the line in but, hey! for a couple of quid, worth a shot! :D Os' on the box are Ubuntu 10.04, Fedora 15 and Centos 5.8.

Play Bonny! :hattip:

Behringer UCA202.

(summary: it's great except for the headphone port).

No line in, but it does have RCA in, which is just as good.
