looking for tv tuner for laptop that works with linux

I am looking for a tv tuner i can use with my laptop, that i will have little trouble installing under linux, preferably mythtv supported. I want good quality, doesnt have to be perfect since i only will use standard cable as the source (maybe from cable box in living room?), and looking for under $50. I know it sounds like im looking for a lot. also a good price range for an easy setup pci one. id prefer to buy from newegg since ive never had any problems and since theres no tax its cheaper for me. thanks

I would search NewEgg for USB tuners in your range, and then see if they're supported on the MythTV hardware list. The cheapest cards may be software capture, not hardware, so you'd have to have a fairly fast machine to do the encoding since the card isn't. You might also search the MythTV users mailing list archives for some extra info.
