Looking for 802.11G Linux PCI/USB Adapter

I'm trying to hook up to my girlfriend's dad's wireless network, but I can't find any compatable cards. Do you know of any? Also, he want to use WPA encryption. Thanks.

Don't know about WPA or what it really means, but i ordered this one because the one of the reviewers said that it worked out of the box in ubuntu (what i use).

gotta love newegg.

The guy ended up using an NDIS driver. I'm uncertain NDIS support for WPA encryption. Is there an adapter which favors or supports linux. The card you showed me looked pretty nice though.

rats, means i will have to NDIS it too, should have looked more closely.
hopefully, ubuntu will smooth it over. like most other things.

Actually, further down someone said that the rt2500 works. Sorry, was too hasty.

Hey there
UPS dropped it off today,
got it going in no time.
i did have to put something in /etc/network/interfaces first,
but after that, no problem. works great.
yeah, used the rt2500
no ndis required, nor desired
