As root from terminal or cli lspci for pci devices. lsusb for usb detected devices. lsmod will list modules. What specific logitec mouse model is it?
You may need ZAxisMapping "4 5" for scroll wheel to work. Mouseconfig can vary with number of wheels and buttons. /dev/input/mice or /dev/input/mouse might better. IMPS/2 or logitec or other protocol may be needed. You can do search for logitec mouse model config in this forum or at redhat forum.
