Logitech Soundman 4.1 on Turtle Logic Santa Cruz

Hi, I have recently installed Fedora Core 3 on my PC as it has been working fine on my laptop (a few minor problems, but most sorted out now) I was quite disappointed when playing one of my DVDs that my speakers dont work. I know my setup is not great, but the room with my computer isnt huge, so the setup is ideal for me. Enough of the babble... on to the problem...

My speakers work fine... sort of...
My soundcard has 2 line outs... one is used for front speakers, the other for rear. When playing music, watching video, I only have audio coming out of my front speakers, I checked all the cables and made sure nothing was muted on the system. I am more or less a newbie... even though I have been using Linux for nearly a year now... I am reasonably ok with 'every day use' but still learning everything else... Is there something I can do to enable the surround sound I have?

Thanks in advance for your time
