Logitech MX Duo's Mouse is Lagging when used with a KVM Switch
Hey all,
I have a slight problem with my set up and I can't figure out how to solve it.
I have a PC and Laptop both running Slackware Current updated as of June 5th. I have a KVM Switch (Trendnet 200TK) that connects both the PC and the Laptop to a LCD monitor and my Logitech Cordless MX Duo (Logitech Elite Cordless Keyboard and Logitech MX 700 Mouse). When I am running in this setup, the PC works fine. However, when I switch to the Laptop, the Mouse begins to lagging and jerk across the screen. Almost as if it was refreshing every second instead of continously. The Laptop's Xorg.conf is the same as the PC's. I'm not sure how to solve this problem. One problem I thought of is that the KVM switch connects through a USB -> 2 PS/2 splitter. However, it doesn't work when I try connecting the mouse part to the PS/2 and the keyboard to a USB converter.
The only problem is the mouse and it only stops working fluidly after I switch from the Laptop to the PC and then back to the Laptop. Initially, the Laptop is fully functional with the Logitech MX Duo, it's just after the switch that it stops working. The PC however works fine no matter after switch to the laptop and back.
Any help on this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
