Logitech Mouse?

Well I have a optical mouse, and it seems really slow in comparison to my windows mouse, how do i configure it? I'm really new to linux, my middle wheel doesn't work either. Any help?

By the way the default mouse doesn't seem to configre correctly. My mouse also skips across the screen. One last note is I am using RH8.0 and X windows desktop.

Use Option "Resolution" "n" to speed up your mouse (where "n" is a number), I have "3200" for mine.
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" will enable the wheel but only if you use Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2".
If you have side buttons that you want to use have a look here.
