I have Fedora core 2 distro with Logitech USB Cordless keyboard and mouse in my HP pavilion laptop. It was working fine for the past 1 month, but now it is not working.
I haven't done any new install to my machine. While I am booting the system kbd/mouse is working, I can enter uid/pwd to login but after that it is not working.
Also I noticed that when "system settings" section was loading my mouse stops responding. Kudzu is not responding(after I logged in), "system settings->Info-devices->USB devices"(other devices are responding) not responding.
I have commented the following line in my grub entry and then my cordless keyboard and mouse began to work:
initrd /initrd-2.6.9.img
But I dont know how this resolved the problem. Also I found out that any utils which has GUI is not working. I have another kernel in my system 2.6.10, I loaded it with commenting the initrd-2.6.10.img but in this kernel everything is working. Any one have any suggestions?
