Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Logitech Internet Keyboard

I have the strange problem with "extra keys" on subj. All of them (search, email, www, mute, vol+-) work fine (i bind them using sev and xmodmaprc). But one "files" is dead. It doesn't respond to xev (though I put "Xkbmodel" "logiik" in XF86Config). The key itself works in Windows.
What can it be?
