Logitech Click! Optical Mouse

Awright. I've Googled, Yahoo!ed, and searched/read the LQ, but I haven't seen this particular question answered.

I just got a new mouse (Logitech Click! Optical) that has neither five nor seven buttons. It has six buttons: left, center, right, scroll up, scroll down, and "Application Switch". I (cold) swapped it with the regular mouse I was using, and everything works just as it should -- except the sixth button. According to xev, the sixth button currently reads the same as the center button -- and it does behave that way.

I'm guessing that I'll need to add something like "Buttons" "6" to my xorg.conf file. Should I change anything else in that file? That is, assuming that the sixth button can be read/mapped differently than it is now. If it can be remapped, say to switch windows (Alt+Tab) as the info supplied with it suggests it can do under Windows and Mac, what changes would need to be made to which file(s) to accomplish this?

As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
