LinuxQuestions.org - lm_sensors reports oddly

This might be too wacky a question even for the gurus here, but there's a chance that someone else has had these results too:
I installed i2c and lm_sensors, no problem. My motherboard's got a Via 333 chipset, which means the w83697hf-isa-0290 ISA adaptor (I think that's what it is?).
However, when I run sensors -f, I get this:

The ***s are the entries which apparently should have my system in convulsions, yet strangely it's fine.
Are these errors in the sensing, or in the default values for what 'min' and 'max' should be?
I'm not seriously concerned, seeing as my computer's been fine for the last few years, but it's just odd enough to make me worried...
