lm_sensors reports oddly
This might be too wacky a question even for the gurus here, but there's a chance that someone else has had these results too:
I installed i2c and lm_sensors, no problem. My motherboard's got a Via 333 chipset, which means the w83697hf-isa-0290 ISA adaptor (I think that's what it is?). However, when I run sensors -f, I get this: Code:
bash-2.05b$ sensors -f Are these errors in the sensing, or in the default values for what 'min' and 'max' should be? I'm not seriously concerned, seeing as my computer's been fine for the last few years, but it's just odd enough to make me worried... Thanks, Laura |
Update: I checked the temps/speeds/etc in the bios, and those measurements are correct. So I guess the question is, is my power supply fsked and isn't outputting the correct voltages (in which case I'll just replace the darn thing, it's had problems before), is it the proc, or something else altogether?
Thanks for any help, Laura |
