lm_sensors not working

Hi,

I have downloaded lm_sensors and enabled all modules that are recommended on their site. Then I typed "make users" and make "user_install", then I ran sensors-detect and let it all be set to default. After that I rebooted the system, but before I copied the file and texts as instructed by sensors-detect.

Now when I type "sensors" it just gives me:
No sensors found!

I have looked around but know I can't find more info about this. I have noticed one thing that might be the problem. When I run /etc/rc.d/init.d/lm_sensors I get the message:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/lm_sensors: line 57: /etc/init.d/functions: No such file or directory

Help me out here? Anyone?

/MezzyMeat
