LINUXmint


Guys my linuxmint isnt able to even detect my USB flash drive. the port is working fine cuz my mouse on the same port operates.

any idea how i can make it work? it is not detected.

Do you only have one USB port ?
If you have more connect the USB flash drive to a other port.

what is the output from

when you plugin the usb ?
Is the usb formatted?

the laptop has 3 USB ports and have tried all.
the usb has data, previous linux machine used to atleast detect the drive while plugged in.

try to install pmount
Code:
sudo apt-get install autofs pmount
