A couple of days ago I could access the Internet through an ethernet cable. I downloaded the driverloader at
http://www.linuxant.com (ndiswrapper doesn't support the TrueMobile 1300 card) and ran it with my Windows driver. After running ifconfig to get the second ethernet device up and running, I was (and am) able to access wireless networks. However, I have run into two problems:
1. If the wireless card is not inserted at bootup, I get an (apparently) unlimited stream of error messages saying that driverloader was unable to start. I don't want to have to always boot up my laptop with the wireless card inserted.
2. I can no longer access the Internet via ethernet cable. If I type:
ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth1 up
I have no Internet access.
Is there a way to configure driverloader and my ethernet cards so that I can manually select the one I want to use after boot?
Thanks,
Brian
