robert1p LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2003 Posts: 1 Rep:	Linux Suse 8.0 Boot/Re-Install Fails I've recently upgraded my system and Linux won't boot. Just get a black screen. I've tried to re-install Suse Linux 8.0, but after the CD loads and the Installation option is selected, again the black screen and nothing else. New System: Asus P4C800-E motherboard 1GB RAM Boot disk: primary slave IDE drive (no RAID). What does one do now? Use the Suse CD's for coasters?
