Linux OS and ATI Radeon HD 3470

Hello,
I was wondering what version of Linux has the best compatibility with my video card (ATI Radeon HD 3470). I currently have Suse 11 but it was VERY annoying to make a dual screen monitor work plus many issues of dependencies appear in further processes. I would like some input in which Linux OS has the best compatibility with this card and more forums or topics onhow to get dependencies or install packages (like the yum command, not found in SUSE). YaST has a very bad environment.

Thanks in advance!

Fedora 13 has the latest. Go for it if you want to use the FOSS driver radeon

In Suse 11 ... you could have tried the proprietary driver
