Linux Mint Mate - getting wireless operating Compaq Presario V6000
Hi, I'm new here, but before posting I performed an advanced search to see whether the topic has already covered. I'm also new to linux.
Problem: I've installed Mint mate version. Everything seems to be ok, apart from I can't see Wi-Fi, it's not enabled. It could be that I need to download a driver, but I'm struggling a) how to identify what wireless card is installed in the laptop, and b) how to search and install a suitable driver.
Any help would be appreciated.
